Every day in
every classroom, transition occurs. From the first day a
student enters a classroom, educators are helping them prepare
for life after school. We must change our focus from just planning
daily activities to thinking beyond the day, week, semester or
year. What impact are we having on preparing our students to be
successful, responsible future citizens?
This entire
section is dedicated to helping teachers focus and embed transition
into their classrooms. Along with activities sponsored by OVEC,
you will find a variety of materials and resources to assist in
fostering successful transition for our students. As a strategies
consultant with an emphasis on transition at OVEC, I am available
to visit with you, your school or district to provide training
and information in this area. Please visit and use this site often.
Feel free to make suggestions or notify us of new information
to share with others.
